Who is Shahrukh Khan Assam Minister Himanta Sharma Said| Got a phone call 

After Assam Minister Himanta Sharma makes a statement about Shahrukh Khan "Who is Shahrukh Khan I don't know the film Pathaan" gets a phone call from Shahrukh Khan.

Guwahati: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma today said he has spoken to megastar Rukh and assured him of protests against his upcoming film 

'Pathaan'. Mr. Sharma said Mr. Khan dialed him earlier this morning over "an incident" that occurred at a theatre in the state.

Bollywood actor Shri Shahrukh Khan called me and we talked this morning at 2 am.

He expressed concern about an incident in Guwahati during the screening of his film. I assured him that the state govt. must maintain law and order. we will enquire and ensure no such untoward incidents,

His tweet comes a day after he curtly retorted, asking who Mr. Khan is when asked by reporters over violent protests by right-wing activists against the movie.

"Who is Shahrukh Khan? I don't know if anything about him is the film "Pathaan,"" Mr. Sharma said in Guwahati yesterday.

On being told that Khan is a Bollywood superstar, he said people in the state should be concerned about Assamese films, and not Bollywood. Mr. Sharma also said he hadn't received anything from Mr. Call and that he would look into the matter if the actor urged him. he also assured action if any protester violated the law.

His remarks were in response to questions over some activists tearing the movie's poster at a Guwahati that is said to screen the movie.

The owner of the cinema hall said he also received a call from Mr. Khan.

"Shahrukh Khan called me this morning. He asked me in detail what happened at the theatre. He seemed very concerned,"

Mr. Khan's "Pathaan," said to have been released on January 25, is facing protests over the "Besharam Rang" song that shows co-star Deepika Padukone in a saffron bikini. Several leaders, including from the right-wing Vishwa Hindu Parishad, have demanded a ban on the movie.
